Sky Herd Rescue takes the familiar shoot-'em-up structure and swaps menacing aliens for a herd of cartoon cattle. These critters drift, dive, and swarm across the screen, and your job is to pilot an aircraft, avoid collisions, and knock as many out of the sky as possible. The premise is deliberately lighthearted, but the challenge escalates with each wave: enemies move faster and patterns become more complex, demanding sharper reflexes and better timing. Sessions can be short or extended, depending on how long you survive.
Immediate Controls, One Key Decision
Movement uses the arrow keys, and a single button fires projectiles. A charge-up ability clears nearby threats when the screen gets crowded, introducing one tactical decision: when to spend that charge. The controls respond instantly, so positioning and aiming matter more than memorizing button combinations.
